All three are very nice, but damn, that last one is really beautiful.

 

Are you going to move the gifs out to the navigation of your web zone or keep it pure?

thx! If I recall correctly, the vocal samples in that one are from a St. Vincent song (all chopped & re-melodied to sound midi, of course), and the pads are from an ambient track of mine that isn't online yet

Eventually. Right now I'm focusing on getting all my old stuff online, still figuring out how I want to do lay-out, but I want to get it so there's some sort of clear relation between visuals & music & maybe some interactive stuff, while maintaining a lofi "this was made in 1995" kinda feel. Basically youtube is gross & i wanna avoid it so i'm still working out how to do videos on a 500mb income

I liked almost all of it, now it's gone.

That first one was made today, so iunno i might still have the new track goggles on, but I like it. Second one was recorded to tape so it's kinda muddy. Third one is an effin piano

 

also the web design has been updated but it's still fairly barren regards actual content

Yeah I know what you mean about new track goggles. I get that for most of my tracks, even though I tell myself to sit on it proper before I show anybody. There's not much worse when you have a good idea, and a luke warm reaction because people are expecting something more fleshed out. It's always a fight. Heh.

The first track is my favorite of the three though. I like nice flowey harmonic stuff like that. When you have different sounds working together to create neat textures like that.

I'm not big on the second track.I think it has more to do with the mood I'm in currently. I do like some of the sounds. The muddy might be getting in the way a bit. The main melody that's constantly changing, whatever it's called, seems to be a too much in the forefront of the track.

The third sounds nice and ambient. Maybe you should incorporate the third track into the first somehow. Just a suggestion. I like to have a few tracks, and it's always fun deconstructing one and inserting it into another. The elements you liked from both tracks become something greater than the sum of their parts.
