Sean was more farsighted than that, he stole Rob's whole career. "What to do? Steal this MBM record or appropriate his lush pads?"

This is my first post here.

It became apparent that my original suppositions about "L-event" were misguided as I read parts of the recent AAA thread (where Autechre revealed that they'd originally considered releasing the ep prior to the album), but as un-Autechreian as this would be, I was convinced that it was an intended autumnal/Halloween release. The yellow and brown of the exterior artwork and the orange of the disc itself hinted at it. The (literally reminiscent) Twilight Zone-ish tones of the first three tracks and the eerily hallucinatory media hijacking in mid-September have the makings of a subtle (or not so subtle) paraphysical horror film. Anyone else get this vibe?

Yeah, it would have been weird if L-event came out first as it now feels like L-event is a 'ramping-up' of something from Exai, like you say - that eerie hallucinatory vibe (which I'd say Exai tracks certainly have but a bit less, except for maybe in a track like Bladelores).

it's possible the artwork was designed with this intention in mind, but like most 'new' music a lot of stuff when it's released is probably already over a year old

I went for a long, late-night walk listening to a nearly-finished version, went home and put the final touches to it, and then it was done.

So this may be a solo Rob track? Not sure if this reveals anything about their individual styles but it's interesting none-the-less. It's blowing my mind that the track is comprised of lot's of manipulated field recordings.. never would have thought that!

I'm not convinced, it could be a bluff, and they did it all with synthesis.

And I don't think that indicates it was a Rob solo track...surely one of them makes the finishing touch on any track -- that doesn't mean it was done solo.

now that you say that (cause i didn't read it) it would be interesting to try mashing up 2 different field recordings using that FM cross modulator effect plugin

Also took that to hint it was a rob solo.

Also rob is vague with tac Lorca, just the evolution of equipment used to make the ep. Where Sean specifically mentions working on that track in the AAA and showing it to some guy who dropped by his house.

*speculation* track 1=Sean track 2=rob. Other two tracks may be true collaboratives

But I could be so wrong

I thought the same. If so, I'm a Rob man, lol. Rob pls.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.
