it actually works though and doesnt sound too out of place, they're lower in the mix

i dont think ive ever heard him do this before??

I got this and have really been enjoying it. I know steve releases a ton of stuff, but this is one to check out. it kind of reminds me of the synthy incarnation of oneohtrix point never in a weird way, but more meditative, as you would expect.

well on some of his early work he definitely did stuff like this. like on empetus.

it's nice to hear steve making some kosmische type stuff again!
