I am using Vizzable through Max for live to control video and audio with my sets at the same time. This is my first attempt in using it to complete a project. Aside from the obvious low quality of the video (which certainly needs work) let me know what you think!

i think its a good start
the superman cartoon footage is an interesting choice and so were some others, but i think maybe if more thought was put into getting different clips that somehow would mix really well visually, the results could be more stunning

like i wouldn't know specifically how, but just as an example idea, if the colors were matched in ways so that when they transitioned or combined it'd be more striking. same with shapes, when filters are applied to a vid clip if you had some more solidly defined shapes in the clip, then you might get some kaleidoscope type geometric patterns forming, stuff like that. which, you did actually get some of those things with some of the footage, but then something else would come in and the kaleidoscoping would kind of vanish instantly, instead of transitioning more smoothly. so i guess i'm really just saying i think transitions between footage is all i think could maybe be improved more

but mainly i liked the track ok and the filters and footage was interesting and went with it well

i dont know man, forget everything i said, i like it. it gets better each time i look at it. the fabrication footage at the end i think works well with the glitch fx

and i guess theres kind of a theme going with the content of the footage (the vid game footage seems just a little out of place tho), and the fabrication+glitch stuff is a bit meta i guess. so there's depth to the ideas behind it. neurons then robots then chip fabrication, as it gets more glitchy, kinda clever

I don't know absolutely nothing about Max, but I think your work is really awesome. The music is yours too? really good.

Thanks for all of your observations and feedback! I do admit I was a bit short of ideas when I threw in the Banjo Twooie footage  but I just figured it looked cool going into some sort of "skull temple."

Thank you, glad you enjoyed! Yes, the music is mine as well. It's really interesting now having the ability to control both the video and audio within Ableton. I'm using Vizzable with Max for Live (Ableton Live) so I don't really have to worry about all the tedious technicalities of making the devices in Max myself fortunately.

So Warpish. Very cool!

Can using Max to image signal processing?

Thanks for listening! I'm not sure I understand your question. If it makes any difference, I am using Max for live and rarely open Max MSP as a standalone program.

well... not bad chiptune,completely Max/Msp,right?

As he's using Vizzable (the max for live plugin) I'd imagine the music was done via Ableton.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
