I will never play live in Seattle

Recommended Posts

Are you going to expand on your opinions, or is this it? Or are you a big enough artist for this to be relevant by itself?

The seattle rave scene is filled with thugs, racists, and dangerous people. They say they love you, and show their love through public distrubance, harassment, and death threat. Nothing but a bunch of haters. I have no energy or time for hate, sorry.

seattle never recovered musically after loosing its 15 minutes of grunge fame. its an untested theory but try checking the local craigslist musician adds when deciding if a city might be a nice fit for your tour.

Hate to heat that. I think that can be found in many major cities. Austin has gigs I wouldn't dare attend with similar audiences but also has a wide range of positive venues, scenes, communities, etc. Hope you're not too discouraged, though sounds like you have plenty of reasons to be. Good luck (oh and fuck em')

Bonkers! Ultrademon this month, lots of Braindance to come.

Please PM me.

This thread is weird. Seattle here as well. Not sure what you're even meaning. Must be a different set of crews you've worked with.

Anyways, if your music really is good, please check out our Bonkers! night. All 3 of us are awesome, goofy guys, and outside of Hecate demon cursing Re-Bar during the original Bonkers nights, I can't imagine any bad times being had.

Weird.

Our Bonkers! Facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/bonkersseattle

The event page for Ultrademon on Jan 3rd is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/213236068859366/

February is going to be off the hook, and pretty much anyone on WATMM would want to be there. We also have one of the absolute top WATMMers along with the Rephlex artist, but that's all I can say just yet.

During the original nights we had out Cylob twice, DJ Stingray 313 / Urban Tribe, Wisp, and Jega among many others.

Please consider coming out January 3rd and checking us out. Smallish venue, which is awesome. Meet some great people and hang out with some legends.

Edit: Original WATMM post about Ultrademon which is linked in Rephlex forum as well:

That's a great question ;) He's one of my favorites, though. We'll be ready to announce in the next week or two.

Probably the warmest, most welcoming crowd I've ever played to.

This. I've been to several shows since I moved up here in September, and I've yet to experience a shitty crowd. Then again, I know nothing about the "Seattle rave scene". Are the shows you're playing at in sketchy areas?

seattle people pm me so we can hang out. i just moved here and am looking to make new friends. my interests include 420, idm, and 666. cheers.

Man this thread is nuts. I moved to Seattle 6 years ago and have been to loads of electronic shows and never encountered anything bad besides the occasional low energy crowd.

Hoodie you should come to the Bonkers Ultrademon show next month! It's going to be good times. I don't think there will be any thugs, racists, or dangerous people there

edit: nevermind i learned to read and see that you're coming!

I dunno, last time I was in Seattle (Oct 2012) I don't think I had any issues getting along with folks there. The only bad experience I had was when my dad was in the ICU for three weeks there (hence my reason being there) - an experience I'd rather not have repeated.

Still, I've considered moving there as an option next spring, or at least to Tacoma. Good shows up here in Alaska are few and far between I'm afraid.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

As a former Alaskan I gotta say moving to Seattle is a good move!

I would just like to testify to the dopeness of the Bonkers crew. Great guys, had a blast last time I was out there.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.
