seems like it. I thought exai was a beast of an album but it doesn't seem to be getting any recognition anywhere. To make OPN's drivel of the year and not even a nod to exai is insane...

Maybe that's why exai was a double album. Contract breaker?

lol

Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Embarrassing. Shove your privilege.

looking at the leech activity for these picks on the TPB torrents makes it pretty obvious why they didn't pick exai. i think if every single watmm member who loves exai actually bought it they might have sold enough to bump it up on their list

if people aren't even pirating exai....

Edited by RadarJammer

The list is dependent on sales?

I bought the 180g vinyl btw.

^ IIRC, Exai topped the physical and digital charts on Bleep for months following its release.

I've seen exai turn up on a few best of 2013 lists. Not as much as I'd like, but about what I'd expect considering autechre don't seem to splash 'mainstream' media much (not that I'd want them to)

No, it appears this list was just based around juicy press quotes to advertise a cross-section of what warp have put out this year.
