Damn, Short Stories is good, I overlooked that this year.

Disclosure got all the hype as a crossover this year, but much of that comes from their decision to release and LP with a major label, which is the antithesis of most garage/bass music releases. I've told all my friends who like them to check out Koreless and Bondax. Koreless was pretty ballsy as a young producer to release something without beats that still had such a dance-y tempo to it. Bondax isn't as unique but I think they nail the deep house sound quite well.

Yugen is for sure one of the best EP i've heard this year, but i still don't own it on vinyl. is it a good pressing?
