Guest Jimmy McMessageboard
I don't really care for the EQ in Abelton 8, or at least I haven't gotten to like it yet and I've noticed I'm not EQing much at all these days. So I am after advice on a decent EQ plugin. Something like the soundforge 10 graphic eq would be top notch. Freeware is nice. Cheap is good. Pricey better be damn good. or should I look more at the built in Abelton EQs? chassis
How does EQ Eight not satisfy your eqing needs? That's not rhetorical, I'm asking what specifically do you find lacking? If not, splurge of Pro-Q Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Audioblysk's signature Hide all signatures "You could always do a Thoreau and walden your ass into a forest." - chenGOD ##### | (.) Nil
A couple suggestions : - http://dmgaudio.com/products_equilibrium.php : if you're looking for tons of curves and options (be it on GUI or phase response). Quite a fantastic plugin, not inexpensive... but worths every penny. And it eats Pro-Q for breakfast. - http://sonimus.com/products/soneqpro/ : if you're looking for a "color" EQ. super nice sounding curves and very subtle saturation. Oh and damn fast to dial-in. My go-to on everything but drums actually (I prefer SSL Duende's Channel Strip for any kind of percussive sources).
