that bad, eh? [: i was questioning exporting it.. it's clearly undone. i barely even quantized it.. but thought it has a cool looseness to it? maybe it comes off as ameture though.. ahh the subjective creation mindfuckery!

Has another listen. For irony purposes of the style of that artist name and general musical niceness, it has scope to be improved a lot. There are elements there which work, but not the rough keyboard and guitar work. The underneath is pretty fine, sliding into detune, pretty and rverby, choice of pads. It was the keys and guitar not being rhythmically withit that i was moaning about. The progression is ok as an intro to wherever that it was headed.

Thanks so much for the insight, delet. I actually agree with you on every point. I definitely jumped the gun, cuz I got excited with the progression, and some of those guitar notes, the way the mood hit me, that I was blinded by the obvious unfinished nature of the piece lol.. i think in my mind, i immediately got giddy, called myself Ryuichi Sakamoto's brainchild, and decided to post it asap as is, rather than save it, come back and work on it later which is what it clearly calls for! :D

... which is what i will do!

I actually really like the first 15 seconds of this. Not so sure about the guitar from that point on though. Still, I think there is the makings of something quite nice here

Oops, sorry about that.. it's back up now on a different soundcloud account.. I decided to take if off the Donovan Hikaru soundcloud until it's completed. This is obviously a work in progress, and I think I was just a little over-giddy last night when i decided to post the idea after 20 minutes of working on it haha... but your thoughts are still welcome and appreciated of course (:
