Shame it didn't properly freeze all the way. Ages ago it would freeze completely solid to the point where there were guided tours out on to the ice:

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

Its weird that you mentioned that, apparently one group died when their ice shelf broke off from the rest and went over the falls. That must've been insane.

That is metal as fuck.

Is the USA side of Niagara really that much worse? Closest I got to up there was Rochester and I wanted to punch out all the weird entitled hippies I was staying with. That town was hell to me. Wanted to make it up to see the falls/get away from the trustafarians, but no car till the ride back to NYC.

Niagara Falls is a shithole. Buffalo isn't bad, but the city of Niagara is completely destitute and worm ridden with junkies and pill fiends.
