I was waiting for a bassline to kick in with some basic snares and all but this actually developed to a more militant direction Dry and cruel sounding track and I don't mean it in a bad way.

Reminds me a bit of Drexciya. I personally needed some pads, a bassline or something hooky just to glue it all together which didn't really happen. :-)
