Thiefinger
Hi. Here's a tune where I tried to be spacey and chill and all that. Not sure of what genre this fits in, but I'm thinking "ambient techno" or something like that. Not so much sample-based as my previous one, but hope it still works. Let me hear what you think! https://soundcloud.com/thiefinger/drifter Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/82155-drifter/ Share on other sites

weakmassive
Yeah, nothing bad to say about this one. Great warm synth sounds and huge space. Brisbot
I like the melody quite a lot. It's somewhat ominous, juxtoposed by those happy bits. I do think that if you go back, you should try to add more movement into your existing synths. It would really compliment the echo/delay/reverb you have going on. I'm not a big fan of going back to finished tunes so this will stay the way it is warts and all. So I assume you're talking about modulating the sounds? Automation and that sort of thing and not like musical movement? As you guys say, I'm quite satisfied with the sense of space I got on this one. Not very complicated though. Just one big reverb channel, some different delays here and there and some automation.
