thanks. It's just a single guitar. no overdubs. played through a resonant circuit of granulators and filters that feeds back on itself a bit.

the granulator acts a bit like a vibrato. i used some automation to stretch and unstretch it over the timeline.

some of the higher frequencies get hived off to a risset filter for little warbles.

i think it's a good melody aside from the effects, though it's hard to define the tune sometimes due to the lag in the drone.

i actually find it intriguing that even though the sound is quite processed and as you said hard to define the tune in some parts, i still have a pretty clear idea of what the melody is.

this effect adds to the whole atmosphere of the song, very interesting! :)
