Guest mollekula
Hey guys, been playing with Ableton and its effects. There is a dreamy atmospheric pad Im working on, I have a heavy Saturation on it as the last in the effect chain, and it sounds exactly like I want, really happy about the result. I could use like it is, but is there a way to make it sound a little smoother? I wouldnt like to EQ it, I think it would kill all the nice artifacts of the sound. mcbpete
By 'smooth', do you mean the rate at which the effect comes on or the actual saturation sound itself being less 'harsh'. If the latter, maybe try a free transient designer Bittersweet - http://www.fluxhome.com/products/freewares/bittersweet-v3 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide all signatures I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
