I just watched the film Sun Scarred. It was a pretty shitty movie, especially coming from the legendary Miike.

Nav Katze "Change" is not on there either. Plus, several of the songs had longer versions on their original release.

Specifically it says Nat Katz - Change (aphex mix 2) or whatever so maybe he is referring to #1.

Presumably to fit on CD, the version of At The Heart of It All is 3 minutes shorter than the version I originally fell in love with

Indeed, At the Heart of It All is one of my favourite Aphex Twin tracks, it's so haunting. I much prefer the original. (Incidentally, I'd recommend V2 of that album, with Charlie Clouser's remixes. They really make that album. He talks about how he made them, over at GearSlutz.) And yeah, a few artists seemed to get two remixes out of him, only one of which appeared on 26 Mixes for Cash.

If so, agreed (it's actually the only one I have) it's one of my favourite albums of all time. An absolute adrenaline rush of a release.

Yes, that's the one. It's the only time I've heard of an album having a revision, and it was totally worth it. :D

how much do big labels pay for remixes now? would afx make phat $$$ for a katy perry or lady gaga remix these days?

Does he need money? He's already got a staggering amount of synths. Now he just needs groceries from the sound of things... :) Small outgoings only require small incomings.
