I'm looking for more music that is very looping/editing heavy, like "Gin Nation" by Tiger & Woods or "A Paw in My Face" by The Field. Can anyone recommend other artists / songs like this?

Thanks y'all. The Speedy J is closest to what I have in mind since it's both sample-based and the most cut up & loopy. The Burger one has the sound but is ... too loopy, if that makes sense? Doesn't alter the beat enough to create its own new rhythm.

have you heard any sensate focus stuff encey? It's a mark fell side project where he apparently cuts up a lot of old 90s house music to make the final result. Also definitely check out some of Mr Oizo's post analog worms attack stuff (if you already haven't) , hes probably my favorite loopy sample smith musician.

I like Oizo a lot, although my ears are not always in the mood for such harsh beats. Never heard Sensate Focus before -- awesome shit. Mark Fell is a badass!

I'd also recommend Darkside, but it's quite slow compared to what most of us have posted.

i still kinda regret not going to see Sensate Focus when they played out here, it was literally the only mark fell gig since the time SND opened for AE in 2005
