90,000 people playing one game of Pokemon at the same time

A stream opened up 5 days ago on twitch.tv that shows a game of Pokemon red which is played by everyone in the chat room. Controls are up, down, left, right, b, a, and start. Select was taken out so that soft resets could not happen. This means that tens of thousands of people are playing a single game of Pokemon. The results are pretty hilarious.

At one point they accidentally released their second best Pokemon into the wild, although they do have 4 badges already.

They recently switched it so that if enough people vote "democracy" it can switch to a mode where it makes the move ever 20 seconds that is the most voted on by the chat room, but they managed to 4 gym badges before that happened.

Proves that any kid pressing random buttons will eventually beat any game.

There's an RNG one, too. It's not doing quite as well though.

I was hooked watching that a few days ago, they started up a twitch plays Super Mario bros, and I was hooked on watching that for a few hours but they never made it past the 2nd checkpoint on 1-1.
