Koenraad Ecker - Ill Fares The Land

Came across this yesterday, am planning on purchasing the digital (I'm not too keen on splurging for vinyl usually) soon. It's a dense and dark record, lots of distortion and drones and swelling compressed parts and bass. Boomkat compares it to The Haxan Cloak, and I can see that a bit, though it's not nearly as clean.

Am I the only one who LOVES the sound that make Boomkat previews every one minute? Sounds like a radio thing..

My neighbors are going to like that release

In most stuff it's not too out of place. They need something more obtrusive for the electronic music they mostly sell: a banjo arpeggio or maybe commercialize it (a frat guy yelling Bud Light Rules! every 20 seconds).
