annoying forum bug/issue

Every now and then, I get this happen to me, where there are no dots next to the topic titles which means that I can't click on it and go to the next unread post.

When it happens, it does this for days, and sometimes weeks on end. It's incredibly frustrating. It also carries over to multiple computers, and different browsers.

I've noticed that a few times with the classic skin too. Sometimes changing to a different theme and back again seems to fix it, but sometimes you have to wait for the server to clear its image cache.

Yeah, noticed this today. The logo is gone too.

This happens whenever Tapatalk issues an update to the plugin for the forum - I always assume the skin caches get rebuilt, but they (obviously) never do, and someone mentions the logo's broken or something related, and I go in and recache the templates. It should be fixed now.

thank you for the explanation! At least I know what it is now. At first I thought it was my ISP being shit, or some DNS issue.

Never happened to me, but I still find it infinitely annoying that on firefox I cant press tab and then enter to post my comment.

is anyone able to log into watmm using tapatalk? i haven't been able to for a few weeks (maybe last 2 months). just says "connecting to server" then never connects.

anyone else having this issue or aware of the status of this problem?

yeah you can turn it off, but it doesn't get turned off when you purchase the Pro verison.

Wait ... if you *don't* pay for it then you can turn those crappy signatures off, but not if you buy it ?!

I guess he means it doesn't turn it off automatically if you buy a pro. And thanks for proving my worst assumptions, shame on everybody! One does not simply enter the settings screen...

I've never checked if you can turn it off completely. As far as I could tell you need to go into full edit and uncheck the box for each post. That may make it ever so slightly less annoying for people who get annoyed at that sort of thing.

I just downloaded Tapatalk on my phone to say fuck you. One push of a button to go to settings, then third field from the top goes like SIGNATURE, check NO. Three touches both for tablet and phone.
