I fucking love Sun Kil Moon, but I only really like about half of this album.

Taste is a weird thing.

But "Song Remains the Same" is top 3 MK tunes for me.

Great album! He's been around for ages, so there's a ton of stuff to check out if you're not familiar. The red house painters self titled with a roller coaster on the cover is a good starting point.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I've seen this artists name for a number of years but never heard anything by him. Last night I happened to randomly click on 'Song Remains the Same' and was pinned down by the brilliance of it. Awe inspiring track and definitely I'm gonna go back for more investigations. Asap.

1) Ghosts of the Great Highway will always be my favorite MK album

2) I never really understood the Modest Mouse influence until I heard "Ben's My Friend"

3) he's releasing a christmas album this year

Quality album. Depressing as hell though.

Gustavo from his split LP with The Album Leaf's Jimmy LaValle is my favourite track of 2013.

I've been listening to the guy since the 90s, so my tolerance/love of his older stuff may be too damn high.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I like some of Among the Leaves, but I found that album to be more depressing and uneven.

Though most of the songs on Benji deal with tragic events and death, I find it to be somehow more life-affirming and uplifting in a way.

He's been on a roll since the Album Leaf and Desertshore collabs, can't wait to see what he comes up with next (though apparently, it will blow our minds: http://pitchfork.com/features/interviews/9320-mark-kozelek/?utm_campaign=search&utm_medium=site&utm_source=search-ac
