theocide
Oh. Pop music with female vocals. Let's talk about a few things here. I really enjoyed your track, or at least the parts that I skipped to. Another thing, I am swayed naturally towards the big-beat sound. You've got this dj shadow portishead sounding thing, it works I suppose for most people. I don't like the stupid woman's voice, it degenerates the quality of your track in general, but it's a remix so I understand. I can see what you're going for with this track, and while it seethes of contrivance, I'll go ahead and say it's a quality track. Guest wasps
Quote Oh. Pop music with female vocals. that wouldn't be the first pigeonhole to occur to me, so it's interesting it would strike you as such. :) i guess if you're into the overtly chunky big beat sound this might seem a bit wank. many thanks for listening, zir. Guest Promo
Yeah don't think I was totally into this myself. I think its just too poppy/commercial sounding for me. Its well produced and all that but musically its just not what gets me emotional excited. Does have a bit of a Portishead vibe to be fair with those vocals but I would say that was largely it. Yeah production is tight, big and impressive as usual but musically its just too commercial for my tastes. I definitely think with a track such as this you've got a lot of cross-over potential Wasps but yeah not my bag really. Sos. Guest wasps
nowt to sos over promo, if you didn't dig you didn't dig. .) it's strange people are describing it as pop, i was going for a retro filmtrack feel. it's probably indictative of how far out of the loop i am now - that or being surrounded by scandic pop is taking its toll. thanks for listening anyway man, always appreciated.
