Prefuse and Machinedrum Colaboration

This collab makes a lot of sense considering the roots of both artists, though Machinedrum moved away from the glich-hop many years ago. It almost sounds as though each artist controls half of the track-duration respectively, which seems to me a unique approach. I hope they made more of these!

Oooo this is rather nice, I much prefer it to any of the recent stuff I've heard from either of them on their own. It kind of loses it's steam towards the last third though. Would like to hear more from this collab as well.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

i think this collab would've made so much sense back when prefuse 73 was still (you know) good and glitch hop was still a thing (i.e. back when m3rck was still active)

'the only scarf' sounds like something bromstates would've made around the time he was working on 'qito' whilst 'y for me' sounds more like it's from the early demoscene years. weird

Hehe, 'Y For Me' is Chassis' track in his sig: not Machinedrum/Prefuse.

I only just really got into Prefuse a week-or-so ago by accident when I asked my girlfriend to pick a random album from my collection. I had One World Extinguisher for a while but never really got into it. I got a hold of his first release (Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives) and it is far superior imo. Really an amazing album and I'm glad I found out about it.

I don't like how he makes more and more use of compression with each release. His beats and vocal snippets are fucking ace, the clear production of Vocal Studies is honest and straight-forward, I'd be glad to know more stuff like that. But why oh why does he feel a need to water his tracks down so much ... He's suffering from intense Clark-Syndrome unfortunately.

This less known remix of his is still very much in the old spirit ... wish he'd go back to that style.

You mean Brothomstates and Qtio? Have you been drinking again?

This track was on the great "JETS radio" mix they (JE+TS) did a while back - I think I prefer it in that context but still a decent one-off nonetheless.

I'd love to hear a full album or solid EP from this duo.

Prefuse and DOOM should do a colab, though these guys sound great too.

PRE-DOOM. DOOMFUSE.

collab sounds cool, but i don't know if i'll be ever to seriously get into Prefuse's label after that really odd cologne/perfume calvin Klein style promo video advertising it's opening. really turned me off... big time
