jazzband covers autechre

so appearently polish jazzband is making a whole album of jazzy autechre covers. they already did one cover some time ago, but this time it's a whole pink freud plays autechre event with full album coming up. not sure if i'm excited but it is curious.

I can't think of any musical genre I hate worse than jazz.

Why can't a doom metal band cover autechre? Or even a folk band would be alright.

How about a collaboration between AE and Esoteric?

Pity you don't like jazz. It's a really broad genre once you start digging through it. AE definitely has some jazz influences in Draft 7.30 as well.

upcoming album the people i love by steve lehman trio + craig taborn features a cover of q-play

there's a short sample on boomkat -  it's a rather loose interpretation, but they really capture the track's feeling imho. (further proof that oversteps is a jazz album at heart)
