foresense
I was trying out the Micro Modular I got. It's a nice machine, but I'm still finding everything out. The synthetic drums and one little melody loop that keep popping up are from that machine. It was really easy to make the synth drums sound pleasing. I have a waldorf rackattack, but it's a bitch to program in comparison; I always feel I'm under-using it because it has so much stuff going on. I haven't cracked that box yet. Even the VST version is hardcore. It's nice to work with just the parameters you're interested in, instead of having all the options static like in a normal synth. Really think through what you want to do with it and try to build it. It doesn't feel limited in terms of processor power, but you don't want to be doing a lot of voices.
