How the fuck is that green not green thing IDM... What the fuck?! Color sense is IDM, though. I have one cool eye and one warm eye, so it gives me ultra 3d color idm vision.

Robots reverting to agrarian society after human extinction would be hella idm imo. pastoral melodies + mechanical beats, it pretty much writes itself!

voted for caves. honestly i don't want caves to win because it's kinda generic, but skipping CDs would be pretty much a straight-up vaporwave compilation.

voted for Cordyceps but now i'm thinking i shoulda went with broken gifs cuz it's sorta the same angle as skipping cds but with more of a cool visual aesthetic & experimentation.

the internet may not be idm - i'm not sure - but idm is definitely internet (along with all the other weird niche music watmm likes to listen to). the dream version of the internet would be surreal, nonsensical, taking familiar concepts & going off in unexpected, perhaps even nightmarish directions.
