are tracker sequencers more difficult altogether than left-right ones?

It's wicked, needs some kind of compositional movement I think - maybe make it break down into it's constituent parts as it goes and then have those parts reassemble themselves into a more composed form (like a rhythmic melody or like drums in rhythmic speech patterns)

Maybe find a way to add some dynamic changes - you know loud-quiet etc. changes in tone etc. That kind of intensity is hard to hear without variation

when its done it will have included all those things and more! I'm going to be building off of this and adding elements to please each of the senses if you will... for now its pretty dry. expect the end result to sound considerably different

nah. much simpler once you figure out exactly whats going on.

eventually it will be as layered as this

i look forward to hearing a longer version, but this version is cool, too. tracks that don't bother with "song format," with intros and outros, have their place too. it's like walking into the wrong room and seeing bizarre shit, then walking out. it's a valid and interesting experience. everything doesn't have to be narrated with a beginning and end, actually that's contrived in a sense.
