Never heard of these two but I pre-ordered the album as soon as I heard the preview track. Maybe some of you will dig it too.

  Quote

LCC (previously known as LasCasiCasiotone) are Ana Quiroga and Uge Pañeda who hail from the Asturias region of northern Spain, and are now based in Gijon.

After a a couple of digital only releases Editions Mego is now set to release their first physical full length entitled d/evolution.

d/evolution reflects on the paradigm that is Evolution and encapsulates the paradox between humans and the Earth, and how the Earth has been affected by people and how their symbiotic relationship has been broken and turn into a parasitic one.

Man's natural rhythms are kept in check by nature's rhythms, and vice versa. There is a constant fight to maintain the fragile equilibrium. d/evolution plays with this ambiguity: it juxtaposes warm soundscapes with unexpected ones, simultaneously evokes images of urban and natural environments, transforms synthetic sounds into organic ones, all with the objective of taking us closer to our origins. A journey of sounds, from the highest peaks to the bowels of the Earth.

Nice track, not surprised to hear something unknown to be good on eMego. Sadly most of their releases get a couple of reactions at best here or no mention at all.

So this is out now. The album is essentially 37 minutes of soundscapes, occasionally featuring their very subtle vocals, but it's pretty neat.
