Newly Unearthed Footage Of Kraftwerk— Live 1970

This is pretty amazing. It's a little slow starting with the mix being uneven for 'Stratovarius', but when 'Ruckzuck' starts it's pure magic throughout. Seeing all the fresh faced Germans in the crowd smoking, rocking, clapping, staring, and laughing is a nice window to the past.

Watched this yesterday, had an absolute blast. The vid/audio quality is amazing, Ruckzuck is amazing, the crowd responses are brilliant. Really worth a watch :)

Absolutely. I said yesterday I'd check out the first couple of minutes and my jaw dropped when Ruckzuck started. Ralf looks so badass.

Yeah, same thing, I really didn't have time but I just couldn't turn it off anymore.

This really put me on a Kraftwerk binge these days, been listening all of my records back to back. Last week I also saw this really great documentary (sorry, most of it is for Dutch peeps only, but it has Derrick May and... The Electrifying Mojo talking!) which also made me remember my Kraftwerk fanboism:

kraftwerk r awsum.

but I'm much more down for the hermetically-sealed beats ala computerwelt than early krautrocky stuff. still better than most krautrock ever.
