You'd probably like Pure X as well. Another Texas band with a similar vibe.

I really dig True Widow, thanks for posting this, reminds me to check them out again. I wish more bands went for this sound. Beach House and Widowspeak come close at times, but they're more rooted in dream pop and 70s era rock.

Pure X is playing tonight here in Dallas, my band was wanting to play with them but apparently they were compared to us and they didn't like that so they didn't want to play the show with us........sucks because M Geddes Gengras, ambient/experimental wizard, is doing sound for them and playing a live set.

True Widow are awesome, a sibling band of ours.

What? That's kind of dickish of them. The new Eyes, Wings, and Many Other Things compliments their stuff well...isn't that perfect for a opener!?
