trivia:

mary ann (dawn wells) and ginger (tina louise) are the only two surviving cast members

dawn wells participated in all of the reunion specials/press, tina louise considered herself "a serious actress" and was replaced in subsequent tv movie sequels and her Gilligan related appearances were rare after the show ended

the two daughters on Bob's Burgers are named Tina and Louise (just now realizing this)
