Guest JoeMadden

Hello.

My name's Joe Madden and I'm a freelance journo who's been commissioned by the NME to put together a one-page piece on the Caustic Window test-pressing story. I'd love to get a few words from yourself on the whole extraordinary situation.

If you could drop me a line at joe.madden2001@gmail.com that'd be great - we can conduct the interview via email, phone, IM, whatever you prefer.

Thanks

Joe

I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.

Read the rules dude.

(also, do you know what a PM is?)

I've sent him a PM, but I'm posting this here as well, as I need to file the copy by midday tomorrow, so I'm getting his attention any and every way I can.

Ignore my PM then. It pretty much gives you his profile link and how to PM.

Joe, could you tell us why you are qualified to interview someone with such a high stature as JR? Have you ever interviewed anyone with his kind of status before? If you would like to run some sample questions by us we can help you come up with some good ones. We did a 7 day interview with another celebrity of almost equal status as JR, and we came up with high quality inquiries. You might suggest NME hire WATMM to conduct all their interviews in the future.

Bear in mind ol' Joyrex is in a US time zone so may not be checking this place out for an hour or so...

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

This is probably a fear for most professional journalists, the spectre of one day the industry moving to crowd sourced copy, that and algorithmically generated copy. Between the two, they'll end up being on less income than the unpaid struggling artists that they're employed to interview.
