Volume was great, indirectly introduced me to the Warp/IDM scene circa 1993 and I bought it for a Curve track lol

LFO should really get together and make more music. Whatever happened to the dude that isn't Mark Bell?

Go on Mark, make us a new album.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

my first exposure to lfo was the opening credits of enter the void

may well be my favourite credits sequence and they're a big part of the reason why

Lol, just realized I've been listening to acid for at least 20 years. Must've had some impact on my brain. :derp:

This was on Totally Trippin' compilation in '95.

Great little track! I will have to source out this volume of Volume.

I, too, wish for an LFO return. The 2003 album was Bell's best effort by far imo:

Hah yes that Curve track is one of their best ('Low And Behold' I think you mean) though I bought that CD for Autechre's 'Lanx 3'. Volume was such a great series; the printed material that came with each copy encapsulates in detail very specific periods in underground electronica history.

I think they only were great for a short time. "we are back" was good, but everything past it did not convince me completely.

Their lfo 4-tracker and Frequencies were very extraordinary and still are. Also their remix of NOW Aftermath was great.

Back in those days it was something special to have more variations in drums. The Acid House era was a bit... simplistic...
