Guest RadarJammer
was inspired by the AAA to get this in Reaktor (v5.6.2). outputs normalized to 0-1 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/83462-navier-stokes-for-reaktor/ Share on other sites
Guest RadarJammer
here's a quick demo using superformula remember to let it rev up for a bit, or increase the rate for a second Edited May 15, 2014 by RadarJammer Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/83462-navier-stokes-for-reaktor/#findComment-2164098 Share on other sites
awepittance
really awesome stuff. thanks for postingis the rate the only useful parameter to toy around with? where did you get the equation from? I don't know very much about navier stokes Edited May 16, 2014 by John Ehrlichman Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/83462-navier-stokes-for-reaktor/#findComment-2164168 Share on other sites
Guest RadarJammer
i found it in a maxmsp tutorial so i downloaded max and converted it without much fuss. the hardest part was figuring out how to clock it. as far as i know, rate is thething but the real instrument of it is the interconnectivity Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/83462-navier-stokes-for-reaktor/#findComment-2164170 Share on other sites

Guest RadarJammer
things get interesting now after adding midi and sound output from the superformula. awepittance
sounds awesome. A friend of mine use navier stokes in a max/msp patch that let him output some kind of Cylob esque pitch sequences by doing something like this, i'm not sure exactly how but he got the phase between two of them to output melodic data and it sounded surprisingly good for not being pitch quantized. Guest RadarJammer
i think the best way to view it is to have the outputs going into tons of different places and then the brain perceives that something natural is happening Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/83462-navier-stokes-for-reaktor/#findComment-2164634 Share on other sites
Guest skibby
i'd like to learn reaktor someday. do you need one instance of reaktor for every plugin or does it have multiple inputs and outputs, and if so, where do you access the routing inside reaktor? Guest RadarJammer
standalone can handle whatever inputs/outputs you soundcard has open and the plugin version has an 8 output version standalone: Edited May 17, 2014 by RadarJammer Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/83462-navier-stokes-for-reaktor/#findComment-2164650 Share on other sites
