Godzilla (1954) [Death Waltz]

This new release has been remastered from Toho's original Godzilla source material, and boasts exclusive art from Cheung Chung Tat on the cover and gatefold and liner notes from Japanese cinema expert Jasper Sharp and Film On Wax editor Charlie Bridgen. There's even a limited edition (400 copies worldwide) version on blue and white "atomic breath" vinyl, as well as the regular green vinyl version.

What time signature is the 'main titles' in - tried to count and realised how bad I am at counting time signatures ....

Hehe, I love the main theme. Seen almost 20 Godzilla movies IIRC.

Been home sick today and can get kind of obsessed with counting weird things out so I gave it a shot. Not sure if this is *actually* how you would write this out, but it seems to be structured around three different phrases (Not counting the middle part) - one 2-beat, one 3-beat, and one 8-beat. So it goes like:

2-2-3

2-2-2-3-2

2-2-3

2-2-2-8

(x 2)

Then 2-2-3-2, which leads into the middle part (which to me sounds like two bars of 6 and one of 8), and then the whole thing repeats again!
