never was too fond of those types of matrixes for modular synthesis

tbh, i love matrixes, but on-screen, w/o contrast between rows and columns and like tool tips to show what the intersection you are pointing at is connecting makes my eyes hate life.

anyway, seems left is go into. top is come from. to do a standard synth patch you'd do top then left, vco - vca, vca - filter, filter mixer, mixer - output, adsr - vca cv, midi cv - vco tune, gate - adsr trig.

to figure it out beyond that, add a limiter plug, make sure stuff is going to the output and listen. :)

if you can MIDI map the matrix connections they are fun to play imo, although i mostly like matrixes because feedback. and treating live itself like a big feedback matrix works great, you can have tons of compressors and side chains to keep things in check, and is easier to figure out visually, so.
