Sharp Fusion - Hexagon

I got together with a friend I used to work with recently and we came up with this track, "Hexagon". More to come...

Feel like the bassline could have been a bit more in the front. More low end in general would be nice for a song like this. Sick beats tho.

What'd you use to make this?

Thanks for the feedback. We use a few DAWs, Cubase SX3, FL Studio 11 and Pro Tools.

Did you use protools for mixing/mastering. I've used pro tools a fair amount at school and I find it fairly hard to use to actually create music. Great for mixing/recording.

I like this mix a lot, very full and the drums are nice and punchy.

Have you guys ever used Ableton?

Yeah, we have used it with past releases, not as much nowadays.

really like the beatprogramming in this - really large and dubby in a way. I feel the bass + synths are a bit low in the mix tho. The subby sounding bass sounds would be super nice if bumped up a notch - make the song really dubby :)

Like the other guys said, the bassline could be bumped up just a tiny bit. This song already has a pretty big sound, and that would be the cherry on top. Love the percussion.
