Moncton Gunman

Last night, my facebook feed blew up with people saying there was a crazy fuck armed to the teeth shooting cops in my city. 3 cops are confirmed killed and 2 others wounded. The guy is still at large and everything is closed right now. Luckily we don't live close to where this all happened, but it's still really freaky.

this is awful and I feel terrible for the people and families involved, however Moncton Gunman is a great name for the making of teh idmz

I was thinking more along the lines of young white aspiring hip hop artist who works in retail (which new brunswick has no shortage of), but yeh good point

Yeah, Moncton is getting scummier. There was a stabbing last week between a racist transvestite and a black man.

They got him. Bizarre and mind boggling.

Yes, this is a pretty small city, so having this happen here is surreal. A co-worker of mine lives very near where the initial shootings took place and said he could hear the gun fire. Almost everything was closed yesterday and the streets were practically empty. We were all locked in our homes reading twitter/facebook feeds and listening to the police scanner for any info on his whereabouts.

I've always liked the word Moncton. Funny soundin. Mentioned sporadically in Trailer Park Boys.

Ha! A good number of people working on Trailer Park Boys are from Moncton. It's one of the shows around here I wish I could work on. I do get to record some auditions and ADR for Bernie Robichaud (Cyrus) once in a while though.
