Google Play Music

Has anyone ever used this service?

I'm just uploading a few albums to test this streaming service and see if it's any good.

My monthly data plan means that this is in no way a viable service for me at the moment !

I've got all my music uploaded to this, comes in very handy for streaming tracks I don't have directly on my phone...

Yea seems pretty cool service for free. I just gonna use it on wifi at work n stuff.

It's crazy useful, but don't upload AACs to it, Google converts them MP3s and they sound like shit. Lossy-to-lossy conversion no bueno.

I uploaded all my vinyl rips to google play a couple years ago when they first offered a free cloud space and it has come in handy.

I use GP All Access, uploaded all my musics plus stream tons of music for $7 a month? Yes please.

I use this, and even pay for the subscription. I like it.

i've never seen this, and i regularly have this streaming 5+ hours at work.

yup, started uploading my music when they opened up. nice to have it portable and I can preemptively sync stuff to my devices for when I dont have internets. I also use play books for epubs on my nexus. It's much nicer then kindle, and you can upload your own stuff. I basically removed the drm from all my kindle purchases and uploaded them as epub to googles service.

does it download to your phone when youve streamed a track?

Yes, if you set it up that way.

Oh yea i looked, it can cache the tracks youve played over stream

This is a really good service for free! But the problem is this is becoming my single point for mp3's and i don't have a single place for everything!

Got some on PS3, some on PC, Some on work computer and some on my phone.

what do i do!? it would be good if all of them could sync up and down and i'll never loose anything!

i use it all the time. i have most of my music uploaded to this cloud, then i just stream it. what do you wanna know?

Be warned, this app uses an excessive amount of background data.
