Direct To Mental (Studio Version)

Recommended Posts

Does this exist? It's supposedly on the Japanese Go Plastic, but I've never seen such a thing, and the Red Hot Cock cd single just has the paulstretch-type track and that crude, cute little jungle track on it, but no Direct to Mental.

The Japanese version of Go Plastic has a bonus track, but it's not Direct To Mental: http://shop.beatink.com/shop/shopdetail.html?brandcode=012013000002&search=Go+Plastic&sort=

it's really too bad the Alive in Japan recording is not very good. They should have gotten Brian Albers to do it, makes far better live electronic show recordings than most of the commercially released stuff out there.

there's breezeblock recordings of the track with him performing live bass isn't there? or something along tthose lines? there's pretty close to a studio version.

(unless i'm getting my songs mixed up here)

yes there is, but the quality is beyond horrible. i think the mp3 is in the downloads page.

I can't speak for the mp3 in the downloads section, but this one is more than fair. No bass playing over it either, bitroast. You're thinking of the '06 set.

Thankyou SO much for this, it's absolutely perfect as far as I'm concerned (unless you happened to have a lossless copy?) I can't understand why he didn't release it on the Venus 17 single, since he quite happily gave all the others names for that single release?
