Eventide UltraChannel plugin

Anyone tried this? Looks like it might be useful..

I've heard good things about it, but I can't manage to get it working on my machine. I don't get it!

Edit: Got it working. Installed things in the wrong order I guess? Anyway, we'll see how this goes.

Used it briefly yesterday. Seems kind of buggy in Ableton Live. Couldn't get the delay parameters to stay where hey were, and tempo sync wasn't working. EQ, comp, and a couple other features give kind of a nice warmth, but seems like it could get muddy fast. I might use it sparingly, but the un-usability of the delay kind of put me off of it real quick.

You need the account, but not the hardware. Still enough of a pain to dissuade me though :X

Yeah, honestly it hasn't been worth the trouble it was to get it working.

tempting software that gets you to install a program that does secret stuff on your computer. seems the definition of a trojan really.

Needed an iLok account for a recent VST I got so I thought: sod it I might as well. Seems alright - no idea why it costs so much though (well, will cost)
