I havent been here in ages! bought some nice synths since i was last here

still trying to get a grasp on modular synthesis so i thought id post my noodlings when i make them

very nice, you could emphasise the mood with little jerky stabs of chords later in the track (maybe with truppy effects) - I might have got that idea from Autechre though =]

Great track, love the percussions. Very nice when the kick starts banging around 4 minutes.

oh good, i was hoping for a pad to kick in somewhere after a couple of minutes.

ive got diva, that can do quite nice pads

pretty impressed with this composition man. lovely sounds and the sound design is p great. nothing i would change about it either! sounds like it could have been on Devine's RISP Lp.

also with pads im not very good and sometimes dont like how it changes the mood of the piece and messes with my perception

shame it was recorded badly, but the style is reproducible which has been my goal for, like, a billion years or so

i recorded it and then realised i loved the break pattern and by then i had repatched and lost. minor facepalm that i didnt record it without the 808. i think its a bit quiet so be careful

and StephenG - theres a few examples more in the artwork thread in general banter - its for my exhibition in Brighton 'aquatic specimens of kepler 22-b' ive made loads of these vagina things recently

yea I agree. you have a great foundation on 2 10, i think you could enhance the track with a few synth fx or chords in the background if you wanted to make it more of a stand out track, but i also think it sounds great left alone.
