jhonny
I use OneNote a bit to keep track of things, but would prefer a very simple note-keeper for chrome or web-based (without constant sign-in) that would allow me to keep notes (but also more lengthy 1-side working documents which can be easily moved into word. Anyone got any good suggestions?? chenGOD
Evernote is a great tool. But only the "pro" version, the free version is a bit shit. jhonny
Cheers guys. EverNote looks pretty bulky for what i need. I like how OneNote is like a blank sheet of paper rather than linear. Guest Coalbucket PI
If it is just text notes then I use Simplenote (http://simplenote.com) . It's very straightforward, web/desktop/mobile synced notes. I use OneNote for work, most pages are centered around an image or graph with some text. It does some things well but makes a mess of tables and pages can get really disordered easily. To my knowledge nobody has really solved the problem of a digital equivalent to a notebook. Evernote takes itself a bit too seriously for me too, I didn't like it. But it can import OneNote libraries so it is an easy switch if you have big notebooks already set up in OneNote like I do.
