Noisechan & Nugget: Adventures in Chiptunes

I haven't a clue who Noisechan is or who Nugget is. Not a clue what Noise Channel Radio is. Haven't the faintest idea who any of the artists are in this compilation .. but ... came across this album today and it could well be my album of the year:

It's a pay what you want release with all profits going to Child's Play charity. Track after track of incredibly composed chip tracks of a variety of styles (it's not all J-Pop like the first track might make out), from all assortments of different chip hardware. Just amazing !

For fans of stuff like Katamari Damacy, Sonic, and chip stuff in general, maybe even for Ceephax fans too. Even if you're not really a fan of chip tunes the detail in the programming may be enough to impress you.
