I watched it while half-asleep last night, upon reflection it's mostly a couple of old guys thumbing their nose at RDJ, half-heartedly remembering 'that Windowlicker was quite good' and then snidely writing off any notion of listening to anything Aphex-related. The older guy (who wasn't hosting) knew more than he was letting on, I suspect he was pandering to his mate instead of piping up and saying "well, actually, I did like Drukqs a bit... and that Tuss LP was alright."

Like Pete mentioned, it was fucking cringe when the guy said he didn't know who was behind it all, then proceeded to pull up the kickstarter page screaming Joyrex's name in Vegas-style casino lights. You knew the guy didn't give a flying shit when he couldn't even be bothered to read up on it properly before covering it, and when he said "...I should put Aphex Twin in the video title, then I'll get loads of hits I reckon...", any notion of decent coverage disappeared.

So it turns out Nick Batt isn't into electronic music despite working with synths for a living... looks like he has a pretty poor opinion of Aphex lol. Oh well, I still like his synth reviews. The other guy was clearly into his stuuf though, mentioning something about his GX1 and whatnot.
