Why oh why do so many people own copies of Bon Jovi's Crossroads?

Everyone, from metal heads to teachers to friends I visited when in primary school to scientists seem to own this album with that bland black and white photo cover. Why does it appear everywhere?!

Please help me understand this societal enigma.

Then it'll quieten down and we'll contract back to the baseline threads of gen ban, till some big event thread happens, which spurs new threads which may or may not have merit.

lol I have this on cassette! And no, i can't explain it --it just sort of happened. I was 8 at the time. One day i was minding my own business, trading hockey cards or some bullshit, then suddenly I bought a Bon Jovi cassette.

It could mean, by definition, that you are on the verge of crying.

Huh. I never took "overwhelmed" to mean crying. It's usually used in the context of being astonished or in awe of something, and then people will use underwhelmed if they're unimpressed by something... though I'm not sure that's a word. It isn't, if I am to believe Sloan lyrics.

'whelm' can men 'to well up'. 'To well up' can mean 'to be close to crying' to be overwhelmed would mean that the crying has started and to be underwhelmed would mean that your tear ducts kept the tears in.

There are lots of other meanings though innit like something being 'quite good' might mean it underwhelmed you, or it could mean you were crying in your face.

The bigger question is: if you turn the lights off so everything is pitch black, is there still a reflection to be seen in the mirror? Is there any way to see what is being reflected in a mirror in the dark?

Also, what are daddy long legs for? What purpose do they serve?
