VST issue

Greetings,

I need a software that allows me to load more than one VST instrument, and then assign one midi channel to each. Just like Kontakt does. I can load samples, and assign a different midi channel to each, and then trigger them on my external sequencer. I need a software like this but to work with VST's. I tried Renoise, but it plays on All midi channels (Omni).

I only have Cubase SX3 and that's so heavy on my Lo-Spec Studio PC... Old versions of Cubase allow me to do that?

Actually Renoise does allow for this! Only I can't be bothered typing out a how-to. But if you REALLY want it then I will.

Any host will do this. Anyways, you could put a channel filter before the synth if you cant figure it out. Although in some hosts thats harder to do.
