Just got in from seeing him tonight at tramlines. He was great. Played an art gallery and filled it with bass.

I'm still obsessed with bass music.

When he released 'Freezing Opening Thawing' I was a bit disappointed that he ditched all the sample-based stuff but this sounds much more like what I really like about Shackleton. Excited for this series...

Yeah I wasnt blown away by freezing... but this new 1 is awesome especially vor und zuruck.

Interesting album, the guy has changed his sound a lot over the last 5 years. Last time I saw him live at Mutek Montreal, he was still going for an almost techno tribal bass sound or something. He's now into more abstract music with less emphasis on groove. His Fabric 55 remains one of my faves from him tho.

Its been in my checkout for a while but id not gotten round to ordering it, now they sold out.

Was gonna get it from Hardwax like I did with the first one but opted for blerp in the end as shipping worked out cheaper
