Something is not right here. The cat# assigned to it on the boomkat page matches the cat # already released to the short form of the mix, here:

Looks like they just used the wrong picture there on boomkat. That picture was on the facebook page advertising the cassette that came with digital pre-orders of chewed corners.

I unpinned it, sorry ruby, but it is a bit unfair in the context of the universe and the new releases forum. Threads here should live and die by the interest that they generate.

Part of me is right there with you. But i know that it'll probably end up buried in some plastic storage box somewhere taking up a spare room, so why not have it on some unused harddrive instead. Perhaps if i had the space in a mansion i will have a library dedicated to rare illustrated books from the late 19th to early 20th centuries and all those releases that i never bought over the years that i so deeply coveted. [-;

Wait, just noticed the LP in the thread title. Aren't you guys (and boomkat) confused?

 

Rediffusion is just an EP, composed of tracks taken from the confusingly titled free mix of the same name for anyone who bought Chewed Corners from Mu directly (like me...I wonder why I'm buying the tracks twice?). And it wasn't a cassette, just a digital mix. If there IS a cassette, I didn't get one. :/

 

So unless I'm mistaken, I very much doubt Mike would also release an album called the same thing as the EP and the mix. If he is, then...huh? What gives?

I'm happy to have some of the tracks from the mix in an unmixed state. Shame they are not all on there though

I think he has been listening to Ceephax's Cro Magnox, both Blem and Smeester could both sit happily on that album.
