is there anyone currently producing really squelchy music? im talking soul oddity levels of jam

my 'is anyone producing electro like machine codes' thread went down like a lead balloon so im presuming this will as well

CRX091081GB is pretty squelchy

Always found Phoenecia's brownout album to be super squelchy. The whole album sounds like crawling through thick mud -

nice, but squelch factor lacking compared to soul oddity tone capsule album. there isnt much else quite like it imo (apart from a few odd singles here and there)

nah, currently listening to psy trance for my squelch fix. techno/electro, even ambient i can mix over other stuff all welcome.

Dave tipper sometimes gets me there, but i dont generally do the whole glitch-hop thing so it doesnt work so much for me

That Soul Oddity reminds me a bit of Lexunculpt.. it's not super squelchy though. "Ilevl" from Double Density is a better example, but can't find that streaming anywhere.

And just to make sure - you're not looking for acid recommendations, right? Obviously there's tons of squelch there.

yeah, not acid.. more Jam, while trying to not delve too much into schematic territory where it loses the funk... or too Noise

i mean, i love that nuts stuff, but i dont play it out
