New tune, new style peeps

Okay so this is like a new style from The Bro HQ. I won't attempt to preempt it too much as its better for you folks to just to check it and let us know what you thinks. Peace.

yes. very fresh. i like the acid lines to the synth piano and the swelling strings. looks like you've made a cup of coffee extra for me, especially because the strings are sliding very smoothly, and its 4/4. i like it very much. the little detuned lead is great, perhaps it could come a little more into the front. the hihats are a bit dry from time to time, especially the open hat needs to get more busy. the mp3 seems to be a bit low quality... also there's some recording noises right from the beginning ? the bassdrum at 80% is very phat... but regarding the rest of the track it can get a little more transparent into its background.

other than that... great stuff. close to finish. good vibe, good feeling. tell me when its finished!

Wow! At first I was wondering what the hell you had been doing, but as the track evolved (in a very beautiful way indeed) it turned out awesome!

The only thing I'd change would be to turn down the volume of the hihats down just a tiny bit, because they seem to get in the way.

love the new style promo! very much more developed than from the last time i heard your msuic which admittedly was quite a while ago. killer vibe. this is very accessible as in poppish but in a good way... i mean, i'd get down to it in a club

This track instantly makes me think of the group Yello(with bits of 808 State's style throughout). I really like this Promo. It's upbeat, but it has moments of sadness to it. I love that bass line! The synths are all excellent and the beats are very well crafted. This is a wonderful track. You should be proud of it. I have it saved.....it is definitely a keeper. Nice work!

I love the pitch bends! Nice pace. Really like when the bassline changes so the harmonies change in turn. Reallly lovely promo. Reminds me of old '808 State' in places - fantastic!!

Yeah I have to agree that on the whole, the drum timbres don't really tickle me in the right spot. I like a whole lot of the instrumentation you have, like jynx said the pitch bend is great, that syncopated little chord track that probably has some pitch envelope on it is pretty good as well. The melodies are good, and the track progresses forward at just the right pace. The break in the build up is well done as well, though still.. the drums, specifically the woody snare here just seems out of place. Don't get me wrong, the rhythm and everything is great, but.. yeah.

hmmmmm.... not sold on this. thing with your other work is it has a very heavy sense of irony, whereas when you turn those production values to a house angle it just ends up sounding a little flat and dated.

structure-wise, it builds well, has some good rifs, some nice textures and has some strong melodic lines, but to pull this kind of thing off you need to be using the freshest fresh sounds and have the whole thing more punchy.

be interested to hear where you go from here. :)

dude, some awesome melody bits in this song. love the 2 repeating chords very much. the 4 chord breakdown thing.... my god man, im having a 1992 flashback...love this, promo. excellent, excellent track!!
